Hi, my name is Trina and I am fund-raising for one of my students who is visually impaired/blind. He loves history and when we talked about this extracurricular trip to Washington DC, Gettysburg and Philadelphia, his eyes light up and danced around the room. His family is not financially able to help with the trip. Dad is visually impaired, mom is blind, older brother is multi-disabled. He loves history and reads all the time. He is even reading a book about the origination of street names in the Denver metro area. He is in 8th grade and traveling on public transportation systems independently.
