Visual Studies Undergraduate Thesis Exhibition
Donation protected
Hello! We are the Visual Studies 2024-25 thesis class at the Daniels Faculty within the University of Toronto. As a requirement for our degree, we’re tasked with putting on an exhibition of our own work—this includes finding our own venue, creating promotional material, designing the exhibition and writing an associated publication, and securing funding (of course), all while we complete our independent thesis projects. It’s a big challenge, but we’re so excited—especially since most of us want to pursue careers as artists, and this exhibition will be our first endeavour into the professional art world within Toronto. We’re asking for your help in ensuring our exhibition can be as successful as possible, and that we have funding for an external venue, a publication on our works, and to install our work when it goes up from April 17-19. This is so important to us as students, not only for the potential it has to launch of creative and academic careers, but also for the community-building potential it has for other students and young adults interested and engaged in the Toronto arts scene. We truly believe we can put on an amazing event with a little help from our GoFundMe friends!
We’ve put together a donation package as a thank-you for your generosity. If you’re interested, please get in touch with us so we can ensure your contributions are fully recognized!
