Hello,
We are TSVI (Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments) a Los Angeles LILC (Low Incidents Learning Center). Okay, with all the alphabets out of the way we can share what we're really about. We support students with visual impairments at Ulysses S. Grant High School. This initiative is a student led project to organize a trip with their peers to Universal Studio Hollywood. This profile came into existence through the prompting and cultivation of our students.

Jocelyn's Project Introduction:
I personally want this project to push through to strength my planning and organizing skills, but my mobility skills as well. Just navigating out in the world especially in crowded spaces, because that can be pretty intense. I can learn a lot about navigating different places, working with other people and going out on my own. Experiencing things people go out and do.

Our students are working together to generate, research, and answer the questions necessary to organize the trip. They are having conversation that allow them to develop life skills together. Our story is just starting, and we're eager to share it with you.

Grace's Letter Writing Campaign
Grace took the initiative to start a letter writing campaign to gain support for our cause. Her first letter is to you dear reader, and she then decided to reach out to leadership at our school site. Below is her letter to you.
