First let me say Thank YOU!! The response of all of you interested in celebrating Christmas with the girls at VM has been overwhelming.
Our Christmas experience last year with the girls meant so much to them that I heard how much they loved it all the way through June. Who's talking about Christmas in June? That's the impact it had. It made them feel loved!!
My favorite story is from one of the girls that wore the outfit we provided during Christmas as she appeared in a public setting because the outfit gave her pride and confidence.
As you participate you will experience what the bible describes in 2 Corinthians 9:12 - This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
We are raising funds to provide Christmas gifts and a confidence boosts for the girls. The money raised will be used to provide personalized gifts for the girls including apparel and reading material. If you are able to contribute financially the gift will be fully tax deductible and you will be given a receipt.
The financial fund raising goal represents sufficient funds to do 3 dorms. If we raise more, we'll do more! After that any leftover funds will go straight to VM.
For the girls it is all about the experience, your presence is just as important. God wants to use your gifts and talents in service as well.
