Visiting pods for care homes

Thes 2 wonderful women are mine (Jenny) and Claire's Nannan/Grandma's. My amazing nannan is currently in a care home with no visitors allowed. Claire's equally wonderful grandma has just spent the last part of her life in a different carehome, also not allowing visitors to share the last moments of her life with her due to the pandemic restrictions. We would like to run a minimum of 80km over the next 4 weeks to raise money to help the homes make visiting pods so that the families can safely visit their elderly relatives during this time. My nannans care home has had a great idea of even having holes with gloves so that relatives can touch and hug the residents. The details are not yet finalised and if Claire's grandma's care home can't do the same, we propose to donate it to activities that will enrich the residents lives during this lonely time. We started running yesterday 9th November so have already started chipping away at those 80k's. Claire also plans to run a half marathon at the end of the 4 weeks! I will join her if my dodgy knee survives this 80k. Please give what you can!
