My name is Eamon Makepeace. I’m a storyteller, illustrator, and community-centered artist working toward a long-term career creating graphic novels and art that spark conversation, connection, and change.

Art has always been the way I learn, understand the world, and communicate with others. Over the years, I have put in consistent work to grow, studying visual storytelling, improving my writing and drawing skills, and getting hands-on experience through community arts projects. I’m committed to building a creative career that lasts, and eventually starting my own publishing and production studio where I can create, collaborate, and uplift others.

Right now, I’m raising funds to invest in the essential tools I need to keep developing professionally. I’m currently doing everything on equipment that limits my workflow, and I’ve reached the point where upgrading is necessary to take the next step forward.

The tools I’m raising money for include:

- A high-quality drawing tablet with a screen: Something that lets me draw directly on the surface with accuracy and natural texture. This will help me illustrate my graphic novels digitally, refine my linework, build professional pages, and create polished art efficiently.

- A reliable laptop capable of running art, writing, and production software: For digital illustration, scriptwriting, storyboarding, editing, project planning, and building a consistent portfolio.

With these tools, I will be able to:

• Finish and publish the graphic novel projects I’m already developing

• Build a strong, cohesive professional portfolio

• Take commissions and paid creative work at a higher quality

• Produce and share original art and stories consistently

• Keep improving my skills while also putting out work that matches the level I’m aiming for

This isn’t about a quick fix; it’s about investing in the foundation of the career I’ve been working extremely hard to build. Your support directly helps me level up my tools so I can execute the stories and art I’ve already been practicing, planning, and drafting for years at the professional quality they deserve.

I’m deeply grateful for any support, whether that means contributing, sharing, posting, or simply showing love along the way. To make this journey mutual, DM me for more information on that.

Thank you for believing in the vision, and thank you for helping make this next step possible.

With love & appreciation,

Eamon Makepeace
