Vision staff salary top-up

Following the latest lockdown announcements we have received an amazing outpour of support from our members offering to keep paying their memberships. Unfortunately the administration of selecting who pays and who doesn't is not feasible, as such we have decided to freeze all membership payments again.
The whole situation is a nightmare and hard for everyone. The costs we have incurred in ensuring the gyms are Covid secure have been substantial and without any support from local or national government. To compound all this, we got zero financial support with our operating costs during the last lockdown and we are expecting this time to be the same. Unfortunately the payment holidays and rent/mortgage breaks we got last time will not be available this time around. We as a company will survive another closure. However, after we pay all our operating costs for November and without any income from memberships we will not be in a position financially to pay our staff beyond what is offered through the Furlough scheme. We have to focus our funds on ensuring the doors stay open but without our team, who have been amazing through all of this, the gyms would not be able to operate as efficiently as they do. It does not seem fair that they suffer financially more than they already have after doing everything that has been asked of them. If we were in a position to top their wages up this time around we would do it in a heartbeat but the harsh reality is that we are not.
With all the above in mind we have decided to set this page up to allow any members who would like to support our amazing team to do so. Rather than keep paying your membership fee feel free to donate it towards our staff.
The funds donated will be split between them equally. The company will not take a penny of this to cover additional operating costs beyond the administration of the payroll.
Any funds received by November 18th 2020 will be used to top up the wages in Novembers payroll. We will leave it open in case the lockdown goes beyond December 2nd and any additional donations will be added to the staffs wages for December.
We appreciate each and everyone of you for the kind gestures and messages of support. Hopefully we will see you all again come December 2nd.
