Help Wilbert See the World Again.
As Salaam Alaikum
After spending 29 long years behind bars, Wilbert is finally free and working hard to rebuild his life. Every day is a new lesson—learning how to live in a world that has changed so much while he was away. He has found part-time work and is determined to move forward, but one thing is holding him back—he can barely see.
Wilbert is partially blind and deaf, and cataracts have stolen much of the vision he has left. Simple things most of us take for granted—reading signs, recognizing faces, watching a sunset—are almost impossible for him now. Without surgery, his world will only continue to fade into darkness.
Because he has no insurance and can only work part-time, the cost of cataract surgery is far out of reach. Yet this surgery is his hope—not just to see clearly again, but to live fully, independently, and with dignity.
Your support can give him back more than his sight—it can give him back his life. Please help Wilbert see the world he has waited nearly three decades to be part of.
Every donation, big or small, is a step toward hope and healing.
