Hi there! I'm Vish, and while I may not be a seasoned runner – my personal best tops out at about 5 miles – I'm stepping up to the challenge of running a full marathon in support of a charity that is dear to me: Paphos Purrs. But I can't do it alone; I need your help to turn this "office-chair-to-marathon" dream into a reality!

Paphos Purrs (Registered Charity: SC052400) is a small organization, just over a year old, committed to aiding the stray cat population in Paphos, Cyprus. With over 1.5 million stray cats roaming the island and limited government funding of just €100K annually for spaying and neutering, the situation is dire. But Paphos Purrs is on the front lines, providing essential food, urgent medical care, shelter, and TNR (trap-neuter-release) services with any donations they receive. Embarking on this marathon journey is very daunting for me, but witnessing the incredible, selfless efforts of the Paphos Purrs team has been nothing short of inspiring. Many of you know that I have two cats (Moose and Goose), but after coming across this charity, I felt an instant connection to the work they do and the impact that a smaller charity can have in a place like Cyprus.
