Viscardi : Computers for Christmas

With the holidays around the corner, 'tis the season to be charitable. I would like to take this opportunity to ask each and everyone of you to help support the children at Henry Viscardi School by donating money towards the purchase of Computers.
The Henry Viscardi School is a private, New York State-supported school serving 170 children, in K through 12th grade (up to age 21), who have severe physical disabilities and are often medically fragile. The school’s accessible setting provides a fully-enriched academic program, a variety of therapies, assistive technology and medical supports to students who otherwise would receive instruction in their homes or in a hospital.
Four full-time nurses provide approximately 100 medical procedures each day and 43 students need augmentative communication devices to speak. Students travel from approximately 40 school districts on Long Island, Westchester and all five boroughs of New York City because their needs cannot be met in their local schools.
The Henry Viscardi School advised that they are in need of special laptops for their students. Due to the high technology required To accommodate the special needs of the children, the laptops are more costly.
Help us raise the standards for these special children by donating, asking your friends and family to donate, and spreading the word about the amazing work that The Henry Viscardi School does!
