Virtuoso, a Thesis film by T.J. Wallace

Hello and welcome to the fundraising page for T.J. Wallace's WKU Thesis film, "Virtuoso", We have just started pre-production for this film and we are looking to fundraise money to help achieve T.J's vision.

The story takes place with a college student attempting to achieve perfection for her project, she begins to drive herself insane when she comes in contact with a painting. The painting ruins her life as supernatural forces begin to induce harm on her.

This is a horror film about perfection.

T.J. Wallace has been in film school for the past 3 years studying and perfecting his craft of making horror films. His goal in making this film is to showcase the destructive side of the creative process.

"I am writing this story because I want to show the unpleasant side of creativity. As a college

student majoring in Fine Arts, I have dealt with my fair share of creating something you hope

you, your peers, and your audience will enjoy. I have dealt with burnout, depression, anxiety,

pressure, and other negativities associated with creativity. With this film, I want to show not only

the creative process but the horrors of it as well" - T.J. Wallace

We are asking for 3,500 for several reasons.

We need to feed our crew over the course of 4 days (700-800)

Our Production Designer needs to design props and craft them (1,000)

Paying actors/paying for them to travel to the shooting location (500)

Renting equipment to better help our Director of Photography. (600)

Getting locations that suit the story (600)
