Relief Fund for Berlin Employees

Hello to all of our Berlin friends and family. As you know, all bars & nightclubs in Illinois have been shut down until at least March 31st to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Unfortunately, the outlook on that timeline is only stretching longer, as we learn more about the best ways to keep people healthy. The Governor has already limited gatherings to 50 people for the next 8 weeks.

The safety of our staff and patrons has always been crucial. Berlin is a special place where all can come and feel welcome. Naturally, the reality of this temporary but necessary closure is financially devastating, especially since it will realistically be longer than 2 weeks. It is with great humility that we’re respectfully asking for help to keep people afloat during this time with a "Virtual Tip Jar".

100% of all contributions will go directly to Berlin staff to aid them with living expenses while we remain closed. Between our bar, music and security staff, we put in hundreds of hours every week to bring you some of the most unique, inclusive, and artistically vibrant nightlife experiences in Chicago since 1983.

We know everyone is struggling right now during this unprecedented moment in history, but if you’re lucky enough to be working from home, or to have access to funds you can share, the Berlin staff could really use your support.

Thanks so much. We're wishing you all love and good health. Here’s to many more great nights on the dance floor in the near future.

With love,

The Berlin Family
