In the heart of Dagana district, Khagochin Block, Bhutan, a remarkable individual named Jahat B Paudel was born on January 1, 1993. He embarked on a journey of a fulfilling life, impacting countless others along the way, until he peacefully passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by his beloved family in a hospital. Jahat's legacy is one of fairness, straightforwardness, and exceptional leadership.
Jahat's roots were deeply intertwined with the spirit of service and compassion. His parents, Mon Maya Paudel and Khardga Singh Paudel, raised him with a strong sense of duty towards others. His father served as the mayor of their community for an astounding 30 years, where Jahat learned valuable lessons about people and their needs.
From a young age, Jahat was enthusiastic about helping people and could not tolerate injustice. His bravery knew no bounds, and he fearlessly stood up for anyone who needed help. He became a beacon of hope for those facing social injustices, always ready to play a pivotal role in bringing about fairness.
At the age of 36, Jahat faced a personal tragedy when his wife, Khinashori, left him due to a lack of proper healthcare facilities in their village. However, Jahat's spirit remained unbroken. Rather than remarry, he devoted himself to raising their four children single-handedly. Their home, Hut Number 27 in Beldangi-2 sector A, became a place of love and resilience.
Throughout his life, Jahat B Paudel maintained a deep spiritual connection. He practiced yoga, meditation, and his religious beliefs daily. This devotion contributed to his unwavering good health. Even until his last day, he continued to perform daily tasks independently, from cooking to cleaning and washing clothes, embodying his belief in the power of goodness and good deeds.
Jahat's legacy lives on through his four children: Karna B Paudel, Purni Maya Chauhan, Tek Paudel, and Ganga Tiwari. Their father's teachings of compassion, justice, and unwavering dedication will forever guide their paths.
