In January 2024, our family experienced the unimaginable.

Our daughter Madison Alfano, just 18 years old, was tragically killed in a car accident. Madison was full of life, kindness, and dreams for the future. Losing her has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

Instead of allowing that tragedy to define us, we made a promise.

We promised that Madison’s life would continue to make a difference.

That promise became The Madison Rochelle Alfano Foundation.

Our mission is simple but urgent:
Prevent young driver tragedies before they happen.

Every year, thousands of families receive the same devastating phone call we did. Too many young drivers are involved in serious crashes because they simply lack real-world driving experience in dangerous situations.

Traditional driver education does not prepare teens for:

• Distracted driving
• Wet or icy roads
• Night driving hazards
• Sudden pedestrian crossings
• High-speed reaction decisions

We are determined to change that.

Our Solution: Mobile Virtual Reality Driver Safety Training

We are launching a Mobile Virtual Reality Driving Simulator Program that will bring advanced driving simulators directly to:

• High schools
• Community centers
• Youth organizations
• Public housing communities
• Local events

These state-of-the-art simulators allow young drivers to experience dangerous scenarios safely and learn how to react before they face them in real life.

The technology allows participants to practice situations like:

• Texting while driving consequences
• Sudden braking situations
• Distracted driving
• Poor weather conditions
• Nighttime visibility challenges

All in a safe, controlled environment.

Research shows that simulation training dramatically improves driver awareness, reaction time, and decision making.

Our goal is to educate, not scare — and prevent tragedy before it happens.

Why This Matters

Madison was just getting started in life.

She had her first job, loved her family and friends deeply, and had so many plans for the future.

If sharing her story can help prevent even one family from experiencing the pain we live with every day, then this mission matters.

We want Madison’s legacy to be one of saving lives.

Our Goal

To launch this program, we must raise $150,000 to purchase:

• Professional driving simulators
• A mobile training trailer
• Equipment and safety technology
• Educational materials
• Insurance and transportation equipment

Once launched, this program will allow us to provide free driver safety training for young drivers ages 16-21 across our communities.

How You Can Help

Every donation — no matter the size — helps us move closer to preventing future tragedies.

Your support will help us:

• Train young drivers
• Save lives
• Create safer roads
• Turn Madison’s legacy into something powerful

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help us spread awareness.

Together, we can make sure Madison’s story helps protect other families.
