Viri Ramirez is a wonderful human being who as a single mom has raised and taken care of  5 children ages 4-15 years old. She has a huge heart that no one can surpass. She is a registrar at a Title 1 school in Phoenix called Maryvale Preparatory and is always working hard to make sure she supports all the parents, teachers and students as best as possible. 

Recently she was diagnosed with Melanoma for the second time. Her first diagnoses came 8 years ago and was successfully removed. This time around it has been a roller coaster of symptoms which leads doctors to think that the melanoma has metastasized to her lymph nodes or her abdomen muscles. The 5-year survival rate for Metastatic Melanoma is around 15-20%.


The mass in her abdomen is about the size of a nickel and 7mm deep. Surgery and a Pet Scan are needed to confirm the diagnosis as a simple biopsy can be potentially dangerous due to her history and symptoms. Metastatic melanoma can spread very quickly reaching the lymph nodes, lung and brain.  The donations are to support medical procedures and testing for Metastatic Cancer for the next few years.

Time is of the essence every second matters too extending her life and beating the cancer.
