Virgy's 40th Birthday Kitchen

Friends and Family,
It has been an absolute pleasure, in the last 2 years to host various events, parties, celebrations, meetings, weddings, gatherings and holidays in our home. I remember when Jamie and i would dream together for a house we could be a blessing to others with good food, laughter, prayer and fellowship. I'm happy to say, we've experienced that and so much more here at our "mini castle", as some of you have called it! We give all glory to God for what he's been able to do in our home.
But we want to do better. We want to serve better and do more and one of the biggest obstacles we have has been my tiny kitchen.
If you dont know the story, when we bought the house it didnt have a real kitchen. We had to put something together to hold us over and for the house to pass inspection but it's not been ideal.
We've been praying about what to do and how to move forward and someone suggested putting a fund raiser together.
Our home is God's home. Our resources are to be a blessing to others. We not only believe that, we live that.
A few people have asked me about my birthday that is quickly approaching. I would love to see the first phase of our home get done. The cost would be $6000 to knock down some walls, reconfigure electric and get a new floor done.
The total cost of an entire kitchen renovation would cost over $20,000 so we are breaking the process in phases, believing the Lord will provide each step of the way.
So.. if you were wondering what to get me for my birthday, this would be my birthday wish: to have a kitchen my friends and family help me build together.
