Many of you know my history about Crohns Disease. At age 23 I started getting sick and I had no answers as to why. By age 25 I became really sick and finally was diagnosed. At 25 I never realized how bad things could get until recent. I never truly understood the true issues this disease can cause.

This past August I started losing a lot of blood. I tried fighting this as an outpatient but it continued to get worse. As a result, I ended up back in the hospital multiple times and have been out of work since September.

Since September I was hospitalized multiple times. I've had two surgeries and many set backs. I've had great support from my friends and family.

Since being released from the hospital I've had at home nurse services and I've been fighting infections. My most recent procedure was Friday, January 8th.

My next step... I'm going on IV medication which comes at a high cost. Between the medical bills, nursing services and now the cost of this drug that I need to get better with, things have been tough.

It's hard for me to put my story out there and my cousin Nick was in the process of doing it for me. However, I felt it was better coming from me.

I need this medicine to get better and the pressure of everyday is now taking its toll.
