Virginia Parham Memorial and Healing Fund
Donation protected
Our beautiful mother Virginia Parham was taken from us quite suddenly the afternoon of February 19, 2021. We and several friends and family members have pitched in to help our Dad to sort out her affairs and making repairs around their house. Her death was unexpected, and
there are many loose ends to tie up. Due to longstanding health issues, waning eyesight and lack of access to affordable medical care, Mom had been struggling recently to keep up with the house and her finances are a maze to navigate at best. There was no life insurance to cover expenses.
We kids are doing the best we can with the resources available to us, but live all around the country with our own families to care for. End of life arrangements, lodging, travel expenses, and household supplies and repairs for Dad have us all pushed to our limit after just one week and we have much more to do! We have done an amazing amount of work in the house and will return as soon as we can to finish!

Donated funds will be used to recoup our travel and house repair expenses for this past week, end of life expenses for Virginia Parham and any future property management and healthcare costs we can cover for Dad. Today we heard from Dad's doctor and are anticipating more exorbitant health care costs and required travel in the near future, so that will be a journey in itself.
Virginia has been cremated and a memorial service will be held as soon as her other affairs are settled and the risk of Covid has faded, maybe late Spring or Summer. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to attend; she had more friends and loved ones than we can even count!

Thank you so much for your contribution; anything you can spare will help to bolster us against the coming winds and to help Dad to heal and thrive in this difficult time. We love you all and I know Mom loved you too.
