On Virginia's 39th birthday (6/25/2013) she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer. She underwent mastecnomy surgery and intense chemotherapy and radiation for six months.
During that time she pushed herself and continued to work in order to pay her bills. She wanted to keep her life as normal as possible during her long and very difficult fight. With that being said, she beat the cancer!!!!
Sadly, she did not stay in remississon.
On 2/8/2017 she found out she had metastatic cancer to the spine.
She cannot work the way she had before because she is forced to scale her life back. She has bone damage in her sacrum and hips which leaves her at high risk for falling and becoming permanently paralyzed.
As a result she has limited and sometimes no income to pay her medical bills or put food on the table.
She has the best attitude of anyone I have ever known that is in such a difficult situation.
We are asking for help to pay her medical and living expenses during this battle. We all have confidence that she will win again, but she truly needs our help.
