Virginia Carr's Medical Funds

Joe and Paige Carr welcomed their 2nd child and sweet baby girl Virginia Suzanna at 35 weeks. She was born with underdeveloped lungs and spent a week ventilated while receiving breathing support. While receiving treatment, the doctors found that Virginia had a bilateral polycystic kidney disease. They believe it to be a rare genetic disease called Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease. She will likely need an early-life kidney transplant/dialysis and will likely have liver and heart problems as she continues to age because of this disease. She is currently struggling to keep a steady blood pressure and it is consistently more than twice the normal rate for a premature baby. Virginia is now a month old and could be staying at least another month in the hospital.

The Carr family is extremely grateful for all the love, support, and prayers they have received during this difficult time. They are staying strong and optimistic for their sweet baby girl and are determined to do whatever it takes to give her the best care and chance at a healthy life. This experience has been a rollercoaster of emotions for Joe and Paige. They never could have imagined that their precious daughter would be facing such a challenging start to her life. But through it all, they have remained strong and united as a family. They have relied on their faith and the support of their loved ones to get through each day. They are grateful for the medical team who has been working tirelessly to care for Virginia and they are hopeful for a positive outcome. The Carr family is a shining example of love, faith, and perseverance, and they are grateful for all the love and support that surrounds them. They know that with the help of their community, they can overcome any obstacle and give their daughter the love and care she deserves.
