Virgil Threlkel, the main technician in the Cal Poly BRAE labs, was helping with a student project when he was severely injured on the job. Because of this incident, Virgil shattered one leg and broke the other resulting in the need for multiple surgeries. Virgil has always been there whenever students needed help with projects or direction in labs and now it is our time to join together and help him. Virgil will be receiving surgery at Stanford Medical Center and the funds raised will help his family during this time of need. The Threlkel family would greatly appreciate any help with hotel expenses while at Stanford as well as future endeavors on the way to recovery.
