Virdeen Near's Road To Recovery

As many of you know our Mom, Virdeen Near is recovering from a very extensive surgery she had on December 14,2016. She has struggled with blood clots her entire life due to it being hereditary. In 2008, she had a large blood clot in her heart and many in both her lungs. She had Open Heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, where they were able to get the clot out of her heart and as many as they could from her lungs. Recovery from that surgery was successful, but unfortunately was diagnosed with Congestive heart failure.
Now 8 years later, our Mom had to face another obstacle with her health. The blood clots that were left behind from the previous surgery and others that came about have made her health decrease tremendously. Ontop of other health issues all resulting from the clots, she had one option and that was having a surgery called PTE (Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy). She went through with the life saving surgery at UC San Diego health center. For the past month our Mom and Step dad have been in San Diego,Ca where she had once again a successful surgery. Although, the surgery was a success the recovery is becoming much harder. Our step dad, Edwin had to fly back last week to get back to work because sadly expenses and life don't have a (pause) button. So our Mom is in California continuing to recover, hoping in the next couple weeks she is able to return home to Indiana.
When she does return we are hoping these donations will help her with the medical expenses and everyday bills that will accumulate with having only one income at this time.
If you personally know our Mom, you know how much she gives to others and never wanting anything in return. Please if you are able to contribute to helping our Mom on her road to recovery, it would be a gift she will always cherish.
