We are hoping to raise funds to help cover funeral expenses for Vipop (Bose) Lopitakwong.
PFC Vipop Lopitakwong was born to Somyos and Maliwan Lopitakwong on November 4, 1995 in Bangkok, Thailand. His life was cut short on June 1, 2015 in Austin, Texas.
Vipop moved to the U.S. in 2002 and was pictured on the front page of the Austin American Statesman, fishing for minnows. He graduated from Westlake High School and helped his aunt, Dr. Foo, to run Satay Restaurant after his Marine Corps training. He took every opportunity to sharpen his fly fishing skills and spent his spare time making custom flies for friends and his admirers. Losing Bose has been a huge loss and shock to all who were blessed to have known him, especially his parents , his brother Tripop Lopitakwong, and his Aunt and Uncle, Drs. Foo and Manot Swasdee.
Vipop is also survived by his 91 year old grandmother, uncle, aunt, and three cousins in Bangkok, Thailand.
The family would greatly appreciate your generosity, which will be applied towards funeral and burial costs.
