Hey there, hello!! As most of you already know, I am a student entering my FINAL year at Antioch College!!!

Antioch offers co-op internships that allow students to explore different cultures, experiences, and environments nationally and internationally. I am honored and excited to share that I have been selected for one of these prodigious opportunities.

This particular assignment places me at the Ashe Cultural Center in New Orleans, LA.

While in New Orleans, I will be an integral part of shaping the ideas and activities for the community members who visit the center. As the Socially Engaged Arts Advocate, I hope to use the experiences I have gained here in the Gem City to spread a new and innovative outlook in the Big Easy!!

I believe this journey, although temporary, will be a beneficial addition to the studies needed to complete my tenure at Antioch College, working toward my Bachelor's Degree in a self-designed major combining performing arts and African-American studies.

Now.. Here's where you come in... Antioch College provides a limited stipend to cover some travel and lodging expenses. While in NOLA I hope to have time to teach creative movement classes and other creative sessions to earn funds. However, I would greatly appreciate assistance from the people I know and love here in Dayton, Ohio and beyond. I am curating this gofundme campaign to help cover costs that I will incur during my time away this fall. I believe my goal of $10,000.00 can be obtained. I will appreciate whatever contributions you can make toward helping me successfully complete this one item on my long list of future endeavors.
