Denise Neal was born in 1952 in Dallas.
Her first musical instrument was piano and she began studying violin at age 7.
Dr. Neal holds 3 music degrees with a speciality in violin performance.
Performances include playing with orchestras and also as a recitalist and soloist.
She played in venues from Dallas to historic Charleston SC and New York's Carnegie Hall. She taught at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and served as concertmaster of Wichita Falls Symphony.
Dr. Neal has played with the East Texas Symphony in Tyler and the symphony orchestras in Abilene, Lubbock, and Waco. She freelanced with the Dallas Ballet and the Dallas Opera orchestras for six years.
Much of her career was playing in pit orchestras for Ft. Worth Opera, Dallas Opera, and Dallas Summer Musicals, etc.
An adventurous soul, Denise has climbed mountains and walked on hot coals!
In 1995 a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis was received and in short order her life changed utterly.
She has lived in nursing facilities since 1997.
Maintaining an optimistic and hopeful attitude about life, she looks to natural medicine for help with her condition.
At the present time, Denise is seeing Dr. Johnson and is receiving hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
He is recommending that she have many more hours of HBO.
The goal for fundraising is $7,500 for 30 hours of HBO($6,000) + sessions with her Ayurvedic physician.
I am able to go on "with a little help from my friends".
Thanks in advance for your help and God bless you!
