On February 20th, Violette, one of our beloved yoga teachers, was running on the Cross Seminole Trail and was struck by a hit and run driver. She was transported to ORMC with a compound fracture in her right ankle, a crack in her hip socket, several broken ribs, a concussion and a head wound. She's already had one surgery to rebuild her ankle and will require a second. Her out-of-pocket costs are already over $20,000, despite insurance and she will not be able to put weight on her leg for 10 - 12 weeks.
