Violet the Super Hero is Fighting Leukemia!

Hello All, this is Lynette. I’m Amber’s older cousin and Violet’s Auntie ❤️

This weekend Amber took our sweet girl to the ER, she was suffering stomach pains, body aches, severe fatigue. After blood work she was quickly admitted into the hospital as her hemoglobins, red and white blood cell counts were very low. By morning her levels had dropped more and the doctors ordered a blood transfusion. By evening a tentative diagnosis of leukemia was discussed.

This evening (April 29th) Violet was officially diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. Although this type of leukemia has the most favorable outcome it will be a long hard journey of at least a couple years. Violet will begin treatment immediately with surgeries tomorrow morning. She will be in the hospital for at least 8 days then quarantined to her home for a minimum of 6 months.

Amber will need all your love and support. She’s the most amazing mom to her girls, currently working full time and attending nursing school! This will all be put on hold. The obvious financial strain will be something we all hope to help her manage. If you can give anything at all our family is so grateful. But also your prayers and positive thoughts are just as important. Let’s come together in love and support for this beautiful family! ❤️❤️
