Help a Devoted Mum Get the Life-Saving Surgery She Desperately Needs
Imagine being a loving wife, a mum of four, and a carer for your own mother—only to suddenly find your health slipping away, piece by piece.
Since October, Violet has been battling constant, debilitating headaches that have drained her energy and made everyday life a struggle. Her balance has deteriorated to the point where she suffers regular falls. Eating—something so simple—has become dangerous, with frequent choking episodes that could turn fatal in an instant.
After months of uncertainty and worsening symptoms, she finally received a diagnosis: Chiari Malformation, a serious neurological condition where brain tissue extends into the spinal canal. It’s affecting her movement, her ability to eat, and her quality of life.
Her only hope of recovery is brain surgery.
She’s been assessed by a neurosurgeon who believes that surgery can help her regain her independence and allow her to be the amazing mum, wife, and daughter she’s always been. The surgery is available in Latvia at a fraction of the cost it would be at home—around €10,000—but it's still far beyond what her family can afford alone.
Right now, every day is a risk. One more fall could mean a broken bone—or worse. One more choking incident could mean she’s not able to clear her airway in time.
We’re asking for your help to give her a fighting chance. Every donation, no matter how small, brings her closer to the surgery she urgently needs.
She’s the kind of person who’s always there for others—offering help without hesitation and never asking for anything in return. Even now, she was hesitant to ask for help, but this surgery is something she simply can’t face alone.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page. Together, we can help her reclaim her life.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
