On September 4th, Catelynn’s world was turned upside down. What should have been a season of joy and anticipation quickly became one of hospital rooms, uncertainty, and unimaginable heartbreak. Just a week later, on September 11th, she was admitted to the hospital, where she remained under constant care while fighting for the life of her precious daughter, Violet.
Violet was born in the early hours of September 19th, weighing just 1 lb 7 oz. From the very start, she showed the world her fighting spirit—tiny but mighty, holding on with every ounce of strength she had. For one brief, beautiful day, Catelynn, James and their families were able to meet her, love her, and see the light she brought into the world. On the morning of September 20th, Violet passed peacefully, too special and too perfect for this earth.
Catelynn has been unable to work since September 4th, and now faces not only the heavy weight of grief but also the financial strain of extended hospitalization and the unexpected costs of laying her baby girl to rest. As a community of family, friends, and caring hearts, we want to rally around her during this time so she doesn’t have to face these burdens alone.
Your generosity will help cover medical bills, living expenses while she heals, and the costs of Violet’s memorial services. Any support, no matter the size, is a gift of love and compassion that reminds Catelynn and James they are not walking this path by themselves.
Thank you for holding them in your hearts, for honoring Violet’s short but beautiful life, and for showing kindness during this devastating season.
