Bring a Violent Assailant to Justice

Somebody very close to our hearts was brutally assaulted in Lanzarote where we now live.
We are now fighting for justice to bring the culprit to the courts and stand trial. The way the law stands, we need a personal lawyer to make sure no mistakes are made and for him to not get away with what he has done.
The victim is not entitled to legal aid, even though they are a young, hard-working, single parent, therefore to take the assailant to court, for which there is overwhelming evidence, we need to raise in the region of 5000 euro’s plus, for a personal lawyer bring the assailant to justice.
We are an average hard-working family, originally from the UK, this has been a heartbreaking time for us all and we will do anything, we are determined to see justice done. the assailant will not ruin a life in this way, we will not let him, but he must pay for his despicable crime.
We are asking for your help. Anything you can spare however small would be gratefully received. We do not do this lightly, we are a proud family, however, we are desperate to see the assailant brought to justice so that this does not happen to anyone else, either resident or holidaymaker.
Should we raise over the amount we need, then we will donate that to a Victim support charity for similar crimes.
As this progresses, I will update you on how things are moving along.
