I work with my close friend Julie Trettner, a paralegal at the law firm Woods Rogers PLC. Her home was struck by a mudslide last night while we were having torrential rains in Roanoke, Virginia. She and her husband were asleep inside the home with their young son at the time, and feared for their lives when they heard the mudslide begin. Thankfully, they are safe, but their home was destroyed and they have lost everything - even their cars.
