Vinny’s Recovery

Pokémon, fortnite, video games, trick-or-treating, laughing with friends... is how a 9 year old child should spend their days. But for Vinny it’s been MRI, CT scans, spinal taps, echo cardio grams, blood draws, blood tests, drain tubes, that has been constant since before Halloween...
Vinny was admitted into the icu on Friday Nov. 1 and it has been a roller coaster ever since. What started out as what Danny and Jenna thought was a “flu” has turned into an awful nightmare. Vinny had a staph infection that kept spreading all over his body. After many days of tests and monitoring his team of doctors have found other complications with his heart (that they are still currently trying to figure out)

Friends and family have been asking how they can help. That’s a great question and the best answer would be to find a cure/solution to Vinny’s condition. We know he is in great hands at the ICU and we are hoping to get answers soon. In the meantime, if you would like to donate to Jenna and Danny we know that it would be helpful. Both of them have been super strong through all of this and haven’t left Vinny’s side! 

We are all still hoping for a Welcome Home party soon! There’s a reason our Little Lucky Charm was born on St. Patrick’s day! Thank you all so much! Keep those positive thoughts and prayers coming!
