My dear friend TK’s world has been sent into a tailspin. After a week of her son being in constant pain and being seen by several doctor's, he woke up on Sunday paralyzed.

He was transferred to a hospital with a neurosurgeon available to perform the necessary procedure. It was found later, after multiple consults, that Vinny had a large tumor attached to his spine. Despite all hopes and prayers, on June 23rd they were given a cancer diagnosis at just 19 years of age, the day before this sweet kid's birthday. The surgery was successful in removing most of the tumor, but his mother was informed that the likelihood of Vinny walking again was low. TK is one of the strongest women and one of the most dedicated mothers that I have ever been blessed to know! As a single mom of 3, TK and her 3 kids have a long road ahead of them navigating Vinny’s recovery and the lifestyle changes that will come with his prognosis.

This GoFundMe is to help with all her expenses as she will be taking time off work to support Vinny, and potential move (they currently live in a third floor apartment) and any changes, support or supplies necessary to help them face the obstacles ahead of them.
