As you may know, my best friend and mother Ines recently passed away from Ovarian cancer within 2.5 months from diagnosis upon our move to the Netherlands to start a new life chapter together.

I‘ve done my very best to take care of everything myself from the initial diagnosis and taking care of Ines, to the cremation and everything since, it has been extremely difficult in many ways.

Upon just finding out her home care bill was not covered by insurance I am accepting that I need help. I’ve spent my life savings I prepared for university on my mom’s cell-immunotherapy to try and save her life.

I have had bills coming at me from all sides during her illness and after her death from ambulance transport, doctor visits, medicines to cremation and funeral that I paid for and attended alone.

I took on a very mentally and physically demanding seasonal job in Italy but due to the stress from the last few months and not having a home or a plan anymore, my health deteriorated and my fatigue was concerning, so I had to leave and find other work.

At the moment I am starting from scratch back in my hometown. Your help would allow me to cover the medical bills and not take any further risks on my mental and physical health.

It was very hard for me to set this up as I’ve always tried to do everything myself just like my mom did but I can’t help but think that was one of the reason she got sick.
