To so many fortunate enough to know Vinny, he is an amazing friend, son, uncle and cousin.  Recently, at just 32 years old, he was diagnosed with cancer, specifically T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It’s a rare, aggressive cancer that happens mostly in young children,  but does affect some adults ages 20-36. In order to attack the cancer attacking his lymphnodes throughout his body, he will have to live in the hospital for 30 days straight. Vinny will have 8 hours a day of chemo to try and blast the cancer out of him. He will then have chemo for the following 2 to 3 years after his long hospital stay to keep the cancer cells from returning . The cancer cells reproduce just as fast as the chemo kills the cells.  Vinny’s doctors say he will be unable to work for at least a year, making it a long, tough road ahead of him.
