Vinnie's Haiti Mission Trip
Donation protected
Friends and Family,
I am so excited to be headed to Haiti for my first international mission trip on October 20, 2018. I will be in country for one week. God has blessed me in more ways than imaginable. I have it on my heart to serve, give back, and bless others.
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45
As most of you are aware, Haiti has yet to recover from the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck in 2010 that was the most severe in 200 years. It has been reported that the earthquake left at least 200,000 to 300,000 dead and 1.6 million homeless. Since that time, Lott Carey an organization my church will be working with has asked mission teams headed to Haiti to focus their efforts and resources to help in various villages.
I will be a part of one of the mission teams from Alfred Street Baptist Church going to the village of Carries, Haiti. Our team leaves for Haiti on Saturday, October 20, 2018 and returning on Saturday October 27, 2018. I have the honor of going with a group of fourteen other enthusiastic missionaries from my church.
There are several ways YOU can help me support this year’s mission effort:
1. You can commit to pray for me and the missionaries who will be serving;
2. You can donate any of the following items: infant formula (regular and soy), diapers, baby wipes, alcohol wipes, children’s multi-vitamin, iron tablets, folic acid tablets, pain relief (Tylenol, children’s aspirin, etc), hand sanitizers, lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene pads, medicines (antibiotics, short acting insulin, epi-pens), and “gently” used clothing. We will be packing 55-gallon drums with donations and supplies to be sent to Haiti on October 6 at our church in Alexandria, VA.
3. You can make a financial donation to help cover the trip expenses for my week in Haiti. I need to raise approximately $2,000 no later than September 20th to cover my airfare, housing and food costs, ground transportation, interpreters, and supplies while I am there.
Will you seriously pray and consider what YOU can do to support this mission?
If you would like to donate any items, I will be happy to come pick them up or you can also ship them to me directly (i.e. address listed below) and I will ensure they get to Haiti. Whether or not you contribute financially please, please become a part of our prayer team.

I continue to marvel at how God uses me to be a blessing to others, and I must admit I am excited to see what God has in store for me on this mission trip. Thanks for considering how YOU might be a part of ministering to the needs of the Haitian people.
Joyfully serving HIM,
