This is an endowment in honor of Vincent Anthony Marroni to directly cover costs for families and individuals in need of mental health care and treatment. The mission of this fund is to do whatever is possible to prevent and alleviate underfunded and underinsured people from the suffering and heartache that too often results from untreated depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses. The world has far too many people that do not have the knowledge, acceptance, will or support to comprehend that suicide is not the best option to escape the crushing pain that they endure.

Vinnie was a beacon of joy and warmth and we hope that he has a special place in your heart. We also hope that his life might still be able to contribute to make the world a better place through good works done in his name. Thank you for being a part of his journey and for sharing love and compassion to try and make the world a more livable place.

If financial assistance is not what you are comfortable offering then you can do something even more impactful. Reach out to someone. They do not have to be an immediate family member or close friend. They be someone that is only a very casual acquaintance or even someone you just encounter sporadically. Talk to them. Be there for them. if you can hold them tight and refuse to let them go no matter how hard they fight you. You could be their best or only chance of them coming out of what they are going through. More than ever, the world needs more love and understanding and if you can provide even that to someone in need it would have been what Vinnie would have wanted.
