Hi,

My name is Leigha Cartmell, I am Vinnie's mechanic for the 2026 season alongside Adam Roynon - Unfortunately, Vinnie was involved in an accident on Friday 10th April during the meeting away at Redcar Bears.

Vinnie has since been assessed in hospital, where he has been informed he has broken his knee, thankfully this will not require surgery and will heal on it's own, however, this means a spell on the side-lines for Vinnie, which also means he will not have any income. As I'm sure you can understand, this is a stressful time, as Vinnie still has finances and without an income this makes things even more difficult. His van is currently stuck in Redcar, having had a friend drive him back home, as well as day to day finances.

I am hoping that the speedway family can rally together and raise some funds to help Vinnie during this time.

Any amount will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way to help Vinnie in his recovery and back to what he loves doing the most!
