Hello All! I am just here helping our Son Vinicio tell you about his upcoming competitions for Jiu jitsu. As many know Vinni doesn't have any type of Social Media, or even email. He has asked me to help him create a way to reach everyone out there! The Following letter has come from Vinni.

Hi my name is Vinicio, I am excited to share the news that I have dedicated much of my time to train in Jiu jitsu and to become a solid fighter. I train every single night for two to two and half hours each night at two different locations for my gym I train in gi and no gi. My days are long, once I’m done with school, I get home get a snack and then we leave straight for jiu jitsu.

Jiu jitsu has not only taught me skills that I am able to protect myself with but also many life lesson skills so far. I have grown mentally, physically and emotionally because of this sport. This sport has helped me build my character and it has also helped me grow myself disciplining skills. My year with competitions is just barely getting started. There are many competitions coming up that are local and also out of state and require us to travel the two upcoming out of state competitions I have are located in Dallas in June and then Las Vegas in August. I am asking for support to help me follow my dreams and goals I have set for myself. I am looking for support to help out with travel fees, hotel accommodations, and with my tournament entry fees.

My mom has been doing great in helping me along the way this year to get me to training every single night along with getting me to my local competitions and pretty much giving up any free time she has to make sure I am succeeding in this sport, and I just want to show her I am here to help out however I can for a sport that I am passionate about and foresee myself doing long term. I have helped out at other jiu jitsu comps to earn some money to save up, but need the extra support.

The more I compete will also show my professors that the time and effort I’ve put into training and taking those skills to compete with, that I am serious about this sport and it will help me also move up in belt rankings. I am currently a yellow belt and I am working hard to prove my worth for the next belt color promotion.
