Hi! Most of you know me and my amazing brother Vince. I started this fundraiser to help Vince with his monthly bills while he’s battling Crohns.

As a sister, it’s so difficult to watch your brother fight an uphill battle against a ferocious disease. For those of you that don’t know, Vince moved to Colorado Springs a little less than two years ago to be closer to his beautiful young daughter, Ruby. Since then not only did his location change but so did the status of his disease. No longer in remission, Vince has been dealing with health issues: Crohn’s, C-Diff infections and a perforated colon & bladder during procedures. It’s so heartbreaking to see someone suffer the way he is, and want nothing more for him to just be OK and be able to live a normal life.

Vince is one of the strongest people that I’ve ever met, and not only in mental fortitude, but also in his faith. It’s this faith that’s led him to his years of sobriety and also to being a fantastic dad that would do just about anything for his Ruby. Currently he’s been in and out of the hospital and unable to work and bills are mounting up including his rent. He works for a wonderful company that’s been very sympathetic with his health, but unfortunately, if he’s unable to work his very physical job, that means that nothing is coming in to help him pay for his bills. Anything that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated and can help Vince during this time while his body recovers, and the doctors are able to get to the bottom of his issues and create a plan for his future.
