So many people have been so reaching out to us and sharing their wonderful experiences about my father. It’s been truly heart warming knowing just how much he was appreciated in Warwick. His infectious enthusiasm and passion for life bringing a unique flavour to everyone he met. It has been heartbreaking seeing my big exuberant out going father slipping away from me. Not many people will know, before his diagnosis he was diligently working towards selling his home. He wanted to move to Florida with my fiancée and I. He wanted to start a new chapter in his life but Alzheimers is such a devastating and insidious disease. Toward the end, the father I knew was all but lost. Gone was the man that loved life so much. And when he passed, he left a hole that will never be filled. And if his loss in passing is not bad enough; tragically he passed in New Jersey. And we are struggling financially to bring him back to New York. We are grieving and cannot respectfully give him his last wishes. He is still at the hospital please help us bring him home.
