My grandson Vincent Guzman along with his wife, Shellsea and their 4 young children have suddenly lost everything and find themselves needing help due to a large, devastating and unexpected fire at their family home in Dublin, CA.

Thankfully, the two older children were with their father, however, the 2 younger ones were home with their mother. The fire grew so rapidly that it was a question of saving her babies or possessions. The infant daughter was already outside but the other child was still inside, oddly enough, he was the one to alert his mother by opening and yelling out the window. She was able to get her son outside to safety and tried to return for her grandmother but by then there was too much smoke to reenter the home.

Sadly, Dorothy Abel, Shellseas' grandmother as well as Raider, the family dog did not survive the fire.

Currently, they are being housed in a hotel but need assistance with clothing, diapers, and basic necessities for the children. As well as some assistance to obtain another place to live.
