Vincent Besweri Wankiiri Funeral & Memorial Fund

Thank you to everyone who has offered their help.

Mr. Wankiiri dedicated his life to educating others including many children who would not have had the opportunity to attend school.

Mr. Wankiiri was born in a remote Ugandan village to a mother who grew coffee to send him to school. With hard work, he continued his education in Uganda and beyond. He became a pioneer in his field of psychiatric nursing  with a focus on adapting his profession to align with the needs of his African patients 

He dedicated his energy to educating not only his children, but those many children he encountered who did not have the means to attend school themselves. He recognized education could  change lives. He changed many.

Mr. Wankiiri passed away on January 23, 2019.  Many of those whose lives he touched will attend his funeral to give thanks and pay their respects, for a life of service to God and others.

Any funds donated will be used towards funeral expenses. Any funds raised over and above funeral expenses will be used to continue to support his educational mission.
