In Loving Memory of Vincent A. Agostino
May 10, 2025
And Michael J. Agostino
March 23, 2021
My best friend’s family has endured an overwhelming series of tragedies over the past few years, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support.
In January 2021, both Michael (son) and Vince (father), fell seriously ill and were hospitalized in separate facilities. While Vince continued to fight for his life, Michael passed away on March 23, 2021 without being able to see his dad during the entire 2 month stay. A father never had the chance to say goodbye to his son.
Then, in May 2022, the family’s auto shop—an institution built and run by Vincent for over 50 years—was lost in a devastating fire. It was more than a business; it was a symbol of his hard work and legacy.
By 2023, Vince began experiencing serious respiratory issues. Despite going to several doctors, it wasn’t until November 2024—his sixth medical visit—that an X-ray revealed he had pneumonia, sepsis, and ultimately, stage 4 lung cancer. Though treatment eventually began, it came too late. While the treatment showed signs of fighting the cancer, it severely impacted his overall health.
On May 10, 2025—just five days after celebrating his 85th birthday—Vincent A. Agostino tragically passed away.
Your contribution—no matter the amount—would mean the world to me to help my best friend’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
