On December 1, 2025 at 6:05 PM, our beloved Vince Edwards peacefully passed away after being declared brain dead, surrounded by the people who loved him most. His passing has left a heavy ache in our hearts, one that words can hardly describe. Vince was the definition of a gentle giant, a quiet protector, a steady presence, and a man whose hugs spoke louder than any words ever could. He raised his daughters with love, patience, and heart, and he also helped raise his grandchildren both blood and not blood related because to Vince, love made a family, not DNA. If he loved you, he loved you fully. And if you were in his life, you were his family, no questions asked. He was a loyal husband, an incredible father to Alex, Courtney, Brittany , and his youngest Heather, and a second father and grandfather to many of us who grew up under his care. He was a lifelong Lakers fan, a man of few words but deep meaning, and someone whose quiet strength shaped everyone around him. As this unexpected tragedy unfolded, his family faced decisions no family should ever have to make. Through it all, they stood by him with strength, love, and devotion just as he spent his life doing for them. Now, as they navigate this painful reality, we are asking for support to help with funeral expenses, medical bills, and to ease the tremendous financial burden that comes with such a sudden loss. Any amount big or small will make a difference for this family as they grieve, heal, and try to find their footing again. If you knew Vince, you know he deserved a peaceful, honorable goodbye.
