***ATTENTION: Vince is kindly requesting that all donations be 'Anonymous' from hereon out. He appreciates your generosity and thanks you very much!*** (11/10/20)
Vince is a 35-year old who loves to workout, run, play COD, eat good food, and crack jokes to make everyone laugh. He is secretly a soulful person who at times is hard on the outside, but unwaveringly kind to the core. He puts his family and friends first - one of his goals is to fully support his parents!
He has worked extremely hard over the last couple years to become healthy by losing almost 70 pounds with working out daily and having a healthier diet. But he is still a lover of gummy bears and hi-chews. :)
On October 7th, 2020, Vince suffered a stroke that caused him to be admitted into the ICU for 4 days. He was discharged on October 10th and went home. In the late evening of October 11th, Vince checked in to the Emergency Room after experiencing excruciating pain. There, doctors determined the pain was a result of a brain hemorrhage and performed immediate brain surgery.
The surgery was successful, and he was in a medically induced coma for a little over a week, and he has currently moved onto a rehab center.
He is currently undergoing physical therapy along with speech therapy every single day, and working on getting back to his normal self. Every day is just one step closer to being back home, and back on the concrete to run!
We are asking for financial help in the form of donations, which will allow Vince to continue receiving medical care, physical therapy and rehabilitation, purchase necessary home medical equipment to ensure his safety while he is home, and to relieve financial burden as it is unsure when Vince will be able to return to work. Our goal is to support Vince by creating an environment most conducive to recover by alleviating financial pressure and allowing him to keep his energy focused on staying strong.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated. From all of Vince's family and friends, we thank you for your donation.
