Year 3 - New Normal
It's been a long journey. Vince's condition is more stable; however, his physical progress is still minimal. He is still bed-ridden for the most part, unable to walk, stand, or assist much in his personal care.
We are raising funds to get a used handicap van set up for a wheelchair. We've been getting by, transporting him in two vehicles to doctor's visits and hospitals; however, mom turns 88 this year, and her ability to drive is becoming more challenged. Also, transitioning Vince from bed, wheelchair, in and out of the car, etc. is increasingly challenging due to his size, weight, and need frequency.
Any help is appreciated. I've included a video to give you an idea of the current situation. Used Vans are between 15 - 40K; we are looking for something with reasonable mileage on the low to mid-end of the range.

Our initial Story
Vince suffered a severe stroke on Friday, 10/12/2018. Respecting his privacy, I'll restrain from all the details.
Along with many of you, we are praying for his complete recovery however his medical, rehabilitation, and living expenses through the recovery will significantly exceed available funds. We do not yet fully know the magnitude of all expenses however we are expecting a 9 - 12 month recovery period including roughly 4 - 6 months in medical care facilities and at least one surgery.
We are raising funds specifically to support Vince through his recovery and pray that your generosity will help him avoid financial hardships beyond this journey. Thanks for your support and please share this with anyone who may be willing to help.
