Fundraising Appeal – A Family in Deep Grief: Two Parents, One Fate

Dear friends, kind-hearted people, and supporters,

We are close friends of Vimal and Aji, a loving couple who tragically passed away on the same day – June 17, 2025.

What sounds like the plot of a heartbreaking movie is, sadly, a true and devastating story.

️ A Day That Changed Everything

On this day, Vimal suddenly suffered from organ failure. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, his life could not be saved. At such a young age, none of us ever imagined we would lose him so soon. He leaves behind his beloved wife and their three children.

While Vimal was in the hospital, his wife Aji was right by his side. The doctors had already warned that his condition was deteriorating quickly and encouraged the family to come say goodbye. But Aji never gave up hope. She spent the entire day with him, praying, waiting, hoping for a miracle.

Then tragedy struck again.

Emotionally shattered and physically exhausted, Aji collapsed inside the hospital. A nurse was immediately called, and she was sent to the emergency room for evaluation. The doctors advised her to rest and recover at home. She was taken home and lay down to rest.

Later that evening, some of our friends who had been visiting Vimal decided to check on Aji to support her emotionally.

When they called, her daughter answered and said,

“Mama is sleeping right now.”

A few minutes later, the same daughter called back in panic:

“Mama isn’t responding.”

Our friends rushed to the home. Paramedics arrived almost at the same time. Aji had suffered a heart attack. Despite over 40 minutes of resuscitation attempts, she could not be revived.

She, too, passed away.

On the same day as her husband – June 17, 2025.

‍‍‍ Three Children Left Behind – Ages 17, 15, and 12

Three beautiful children lost both of their parents in a single day. A pain that no child should ever have to endure. Their world has come crashing down.

Yes, extended family is here. Yes, there is support. But no one can replace a mother and father.

We want these children to know:
