Hello my name is April.  I am setting this account for my husband Sherman Simbulan.  On Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 3:45AM, we received a call from his aunt in Baguio, Philippines.  In a trembling voice, she gave us the news that Sherman's dad, Virgilio "Villy" Simbulan had a massive stroke and is in critical condition in Marakina, Philippines; just outside of Manila.

She was en route from Baguio to Manila, and should be in Marakina within a few hours of her call.  The initial information she gave us says that the hospital Villy is at wants a down payment of $2500.00 USD (100,000 PHP).  The hospital is expecting initial costs of $350.00 ( 15,000 PHP) per day of care. 

Villy has an 8 month old son, Virgilio Simbulan Jr.,  that he needs to be there for.   

As much as it hurts to admit, we are not financially able to shoulder the costs.  I know times are tough for everyone, but any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
