Hello Everyone, my name is Shawn Brabant. I am looking to raise some money for my good friend and co-worker Peter Villeneuve.

First, I would like to tell you a little bit about Peter. He is 6'2 and 250 lbs, with this stature he is an intimidating presence, really the guy you want with you when you are going into a bad situation. However, he is the most approachable person you will ever meet, willing to help anyone with anything they need.

Peter has been a member of the RCMP for over 34 years, starting his career in 1991 working all over Canada in various detachments and capacities-(Fort Nelson (E), Hope (E), Clyde River (V) , Rankin Inlet (V), Resolute Bay (V), Air Carrier ( H.Q.) and Protective Services (O), he truly has had a career that took him across Canada.

Peter takes care of himself. He is not a smoker and rarely has a drink. He is in excellent condition, working out almost everyday doing crossfit style workouts that most fit 20 year olds would have trouble finishing.

For those of you who are not aware Peter was diagnosed with liver cancer about 2 years ago. He has been battling the cancer with chemotherapy and immunotherapy during this time... Peter is not done fighting yet and is looking into alternate ways to fight it. Some of the costs associated to this is not covered by his health plan. Also, it would be nice if Peter and his 13 year old son Gabriel could take a vacation and not have to worry about the cost, just enjoy their time together.
